Braves vie for next Dice-K

Five years from now, highly touted Junichi Tazawa, not C.C. Sabathia, could be viewed as the prize of the 2008-09 free agent market. 

The Bravos, Boston and Seattle are hot in pursuit. The Japanese amateur, 22, reportedly throws 95-97 and, as you can see, is a treat to watch:

The Mariners have Japanese ownership, the best Japanese player in baseball and a large Japanese community going for them, the Red Sox have the best Japanese pitcher in MLB, but the Braves play in the city with the largest Japanese community outside the Pacific Coast. Management needs to do some outreach there to help sign this guy.
