Much will be made about the blown call in today's Falcons game, and that's understandable. It cost the local football concern an opportunity to post a huge road win.
But let's not forget who made it all possible. Can anyone tell me why Adam "Fair Catch" Jennings remains a Falcon? And why was he anywhere near the ball on that fateful fourth quarter punt?
Coming into today's game Jennings had received 49 punts, gong back to '07. Almost half were fair catches. Might as well, since his returns usually don't amount to much (his 6.8 yard average ranks near the bottom of the league).
The CFL awaits.
Maybe the Birds could activate "White Shoes" Johnson to take his place, now that he's no longer assigned to enable Mike Vick.

We really miss having Thomas Brown. Jennings is awful. Norwood should be used for all returns for the rest of the season.
p.s. that fade call to the endzone sucked, too. Why not use Turner/Norwood/Snelling/Mughelli? Gakk. It's a game the Falcons could have pulled off on the road.
