The Falcons are competing with the Ravens and Cowboys for the services of Dallas offensive coordinator Jason Garrett. I know little about Garrett, save for this from Buster Olney's pay-per-read column today:
I got to know Jason Garrett in the one season I covered the NFL for The New York Times, and it's not surprising he's getting offered a head coaching job so quickly; his curiosity is insatiable, and his manner and his knowledge are extraordinary. And, by the way, he is a huge baseball fan.
I'm sold.

He apparently saw enough of Flowery Branch yesterday to know that he doesn't want the job.
