It's a little sad to see the Braves' sales people mimicking the Hawks and promoting the opposing teams.
It's not totally flagrant, but the club is offering a couple of four-game ticket packages around the Cubs and Red Sox. Hmm. Which opposing teams not named the Yankees draw the most fans to Turner Field? That'd be the ones who play in the charming old ballparks but bring the annoying fans here.
I don't blame the Braves' brass. They know good business when they see it. And I suspect if you asked them, they'd say we're trying to sell tickets to games people will want to see, period. It still pains me a little. Plus, werent' there enough damned Red Sox fans here last year without making it easier for them?

Cubs and Red Sox will sell without extra marketing effort. That's a little odd.
I think The Office should start the drumbeat for a boycott of all Giants games, by all baseball fans across America. If Bonds is going to break the record, he should do it in an empty stadium.

Seems like they would want to package these with a couple of games that maybe won't draw as well, to try to drum up sales for other games. All they are doing are making it easier for Cubs/Sox fans to get tickets. If they are going to buy tickets, might as well make them get a couple of Brewers or Pirates tickets as well.
