It's official: You're the biggest pussy in the history of professional sports. This morning, after stretching and taking batting practice, you deem yourself unable to play because of "back spams." Maybe you found a swimmin' hole somewhere in Japan, but apparently you still can't locate a spine.
You don't even pretend to appreciate the opportunity you've received, one most men would kill to have. If baseball is such a burden, stop playing it. And if it's just matter of you having a low tolerance for pain, increase it. That the Red Sox paid you $55 million is their folly; that you show no inclination to earn your keep says plenty about you, however. Do Christians not value an honest day's work for an honest day's pay?
It's really a shame, as I haven't seen five players with your natural baseball ability. Sharp batting eye, power, steady defense and outstanding base-running. I recall few mistakes. And even less passion.
When Chipper Jones calls you out for being fragile, you've got a problem. Not that you care. Obviously you don't give a fuck about any of your teammates. Count on ol' JD at your peril.
The more I think about it, the angrier I get that JS traded Adam Wainwright for your sorry ass. We got one year's production (that is, until October) for a talented young arm who's evolving into an ace.
Strike that. We didn't get any production out of you. JD Drew was never a Brave. I'd have an easier time cheering John Rocker, and I hate John Rocker.

One bright spot that may come of this is that it looks like the kid they called in to replace him might have a little talent of his own.
Contract buyout anyone? Give him a dollar for every game that he's played in a Red Sox uni - that sounds fair.
